We welcome research visitors to the John Kinder Theological Library. If you would like to use the archive or special collections, please let the Library know in advance. This will ensure that someone is available to assist you, and that the items are waiting for you to use.
You will need to bring some form of identification with you, so you can be registered as a reader, and have to access archives and special collection materials.
When working with archival materials, pencils must be used for note-taking. This safeguards items from accidental ink stains from pens.
The nearest shops and cafes are about a 15-minute walk from the Library, but there are areas on site where you can eat your own lunch. Please don’t hesitate to ask library staff for tea and coffee.
