The Anglican Men’s Society was founded in London as the Church of England Men’s Society in 1899 and in New Zealand in 1904.
In its heyday it had 82 branches throughout New Zealand. These are the records of the National Council and its activities including conferences. Membership declined until in February 2000 it went into recess. This archival collection is comprehensive at the National level, including minute books, addresses, conference records, correspondence, badges and photographs.
