Rev’d Douglas Kidd’s lecture notes make for a brilliant archival piece
A number of former students of St John’s College and Trinity Methodist College have deposited the lecture notes that they took as a student.
These may seem an odd choice for inclusion in an archive, but in fact, these exercise books give an insight into what was being taught and what texts were used to support the teaching. Such records have been used by the authors of histories of both Colleges.
One such collection is that of the Rev’d Douglas Kidd, a student at St John’s College 1953-1956. His collection consists of 22 notebooks and three folders.
(Archives ref KIN67).
